Sometimes there may be a recipe in your meal plan that almost works for you. Perhaps you need to switch out an ingredient, like substituting chicken breast for pork, or maybe you want to remove the peppers from the recipe.
Instead of removing the recipe completely or creating a new recipe from scratch, you can clone the recipe and edit it.
For example, if you want to make Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with barbecue sauce instead of buffalo sauce, here's what you would do:
- Go to Recipes and find the recipe you would like to clone and edit, or open it from your weekly meal plan.
- Click on the title of the recipe.
- Adjust the recipe as needed, including changing the title, ingredients, or directions.
- Save your changes.
Once your changes are saved, the recipe will be reviewed to make sure all ingredients display correctly in your shopping list. You'll receive an email once it's ready.
The recipe will then be available under Custom Recipes.
Note: The default name of the recipe will be Recipe Name - Your Name.
